Dominique opened his celebrated Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York’s Soho neighborhood in November 2011. Centered upon the idea of creativity, the Bakery is the birthplace of many of Dominique’s signature desserts, including the DKA (Dominique’s Kouign Amann), Cookie Shot, Frozen S’mores, Blossoming Hot Chocolate, and the Cronut®.

WE’RE MOVING! We’ve loved being your neighbor in the West Village for the past 6 years. But rest assured your favorites including soft serve, Pie Night, and U.P. will not be gone but just relocated a few blocks north of you in our new space in Flatiron. Shortly after opening Dominique Ansel Kitchen, Dominique launched U.P. (short for “Unlimited Possibilities), a revolutionary after-hours dining experience that begins with a table that descends from the ceiling into the center of the 2nd floor kitchens, where guests enjoy a tasting menu centered around a theme.

Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel

The name “Dang Wen Li” is a nod to “Dominique” in Cantonese. And it stems from a simple but important idea – to create a bakery especially for Hong Kong. In this capsule collection, Chef Dominique uses his signature whimsical style and creativity but showcases pastries that are exclusive only to Hong Kong and unavailable elsewhere.
