Meet our Jam Jar Cakes at @papadamournyc: inspired by fresh fruits and sweet dessert soups from Chinese specialty shops, transformed into cake. Each “jar” is handmade with creamy ganache (yep, they’re completely edible!), so you can slice them in half to reveal the ooey gooey molten centers. Our flavors include:
🥭 Mango Coconut: mango passionfruit compote, coconut tapioca, riz au lait (rice pudding) ladyfinger (gluten-free)
🍵 Matcha: matcha crémeux and whipped ganache, Okinawa black sugar jelly, chiffon cake, matcha feuilletine crunch
☕️ Black Sesame: black sesame, coffee jelly, sesame sea salt feuilletine, brown sugar ganache, brown sugar cake
🍠 Ube Coconut: ube crémeux, coconut dacquoise, coconut whipped ganache, nata de coco (gluten-free)

🌭 Salt Bread Wagyu Pigs-in-a-Blanket: Wagyu beef mini hot dogs wrapped in buttery salt bread topped with fleur de sel, ponzu honey and horseradish Dijon aioli dips on the side. Served by 6pc and 12pc sets daily through July 19th (preorder by-the-dozen at papadamourny.com)
🥯 Salt Bread Bagel: our original salt bread in bagel form! That buttery golden crust, crunchy fleur de sel, served with Fromager d’Affinois cheese spread (think: a creamy double-cream French brie cheese whipped with mascarpone and cream cheese). Rip, dip, and enjoy. Served daily.

Our “Papa” au Rhum Vanilla & Pineapple Sundae, a Father’s Day weekend special here at @papadamournyc. Vanilla bean soft serve with our homemade baba au rhum (a classic French dessert made of soft brioche cakes soaked in vanilla rum syrup). Served with fresh sliced pineapple and a drizzle of that delicious vanilla rum syrup overtop. “Baba” (爸爸) also happens to mean “dad” in Chinese, and we’re excited to celebrate all the dads this weekend. 🧡🍦🍞

Spicy Chorizo Croissants for this Father’s Day Weekend at @dominiqueanselworkshop AND at the SoHo Bakery too. Croissant dough laminated with paprika Gruyère butter, topped with spicy Mexican-style chorizo, a heap of shredded Parmesan and Gruyère, and baked till the edges are golden and crisp. Here in Flatiron and SoHo this Friday-Sunday only (pro-tip: ask us to warm it up for you!). Wishing all you dads and the special dads in your life a very happy Father’s Day.🙏 🧡

BUTTER 🧈 One of the most essential ingredients for croissants and pastries is a good quality butter. Ours hails from France, of course. 😉🇫🇷🥐 Pure French @isignystemere butter from Normandy that’s creamy and rich, with a high fat content that allows for elasticity in texture, essential during the lamination process to create layer upon layer of golden, buttery flaky goodness.
