Wishing the Cronut® a very happy 13th birthday. 13 years of flavors and memories and welcoming people from all over the world with a little something sweet. When we first launched, it was just supposed to be a Mother’s Day weekend special with a rose vanilla flavor (I think we made 30 or maybe 40?). Little did we know that by the third day, we’d find 150 people outside of our tiny Spring St bakery before we opened our doors (when we only had 4 employees). Here we are 13 years later, and we couldn’t be more grateful for you all, visiting us rain or shine, celebrating all your special moments with us. Brown Butter Carrot Cake for this weekend’s special at @dominiqueanselworkshop, with layers of soft fluffy carrot cake with toasty brown butter notes and a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom, silky vanilla bean cream cheese frosting, and a mini meringue carrot on top. 🥕 Here in Flatiron today through Sunday.

Surprising our friends at @shakeshack with Cronut® Holes for their guests and team to celebrate the Cronut turning 13 years old this weekend. I still remember back in 2013 when we served up Cronut Hole Concretes (it was Shake Shack’s very first chef collaboration), and I cabbed back and forth between the bakery and Madison Sq Park, scrambling to fry up more Cronut Holes every hour. And here we are back again. ❤️🙏🍔 Thank you @john_karangis @dhmeyer and the team for having us.
